| Junction 299 is a rock-n-roll band based in
the Raleigh Metro area of North Carolina. We play an eclectic mix of high-energy
contemporary and "vintage" music ranging from legendary roots-rock tunes like Elvis' "Hound Dog" and Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode", through classic rockers like the Doors' "Road House Blues" and Black Sabbath's "Paranoid", dance hits like "Brick House" by the Commodores and Wilson Picket's "Mustang Sally,"
and on to well-known hits by contemporary bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Counting Crows, Tonic, Tom Petty, and more. We even throw in the odd Johnny Cash or Travis Tritt song, just to mix things up and make sure that everybody in your crowd hears something they like. (Just take a look at our song list!) Our typical performance features 3 sets of music and spans 3-4 hours total, though we can easily modify that format to fit specific needs. |
| Junction 299 also performs a growing collection of original songs. (Read more about the band.) |

| Junction 299 plays out of a love of music, loves to
play to live audiences, and is a damn good rock band; but we
also know that being good is only half of the equation. The other
half is promoting the band so that fans know we're good, and
know where to come to hear us. Towards that end, We have this killer Web site and an email
newsletter to promote the band and the venues we play. We also
create clever, eye-catching fliers and posters for every gig,
and have even made it possible for fans to print their own to display in their office, local coffee shop, etc.. We work
hard to bring people to every gig, because we know that the
venue's bottom line is the bottom line. |
| Junction 299 would love to hear from you regarding
opportunities to play your venue or private function in the
near future. Please contact
us so that Junction
299 can
begin packing fans into your venue as soon as possible! |
